A 20 min. marinated chicken with Lemon Confit Aromatic Sauce

A good marinade should give taste quickly because time is of the essence. Right? This simple recipe penetrates in just 20 min.
INGREDIENTS Serves 3-4

  • Around 1lb (454g) of chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 minced onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) tumeric
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) curry
  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 tbs (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 2 tbs (15 ml) Le grand’s Aromatic Lemon Confit Sauce
  • Fresh coriander, chopped

PREPARATION

  • Mix all the ingredients and add the chicken
  • Marinate for 20 min. or more
  • Gently heat up the chicken and the marinade in a covered casserole for 10-15 min.
  • If by then the chicken starts to burn add a little water from time to time until cooked, around 20 min. total
  • Before serving, garnish with coriander
